"Conference Social Event": Who's allowed to attend?
Are there any restrictions on entrance to the “Conference Social Event”? From the description, it sounded like there would be a lot of drinking, which would suggest that people below the legal drinking age in Boston would not be allowed. However, it then says “Admittance will be free and open to all Drupalcon attendees,” which makes me think that people under 18/21/whatever would be allowed given that they’re attending the conference. If someone could clarify the situation, it would be appreciated :D .
I suspect this is going to be a 21 and older event. I’ll investigate.

In the case that it is 21+ or there are age restrictions or something, in my opinion an alternative small event should probably be organized in order to fit the “Admittance will be free and open to all Drupalcon attendees,” message found here.
I don’t think we’ll be limiting the attendance at a worldwide gathering to only those who are over a certain age, unless it happens to be a requirement of the establishment we’re inside of at the time. Nobody at Drupalcon is going to willingly turn away ‘underage’ programmers just because there’s beer involved. Right? Right?
Massachusetts has a relatively new law that prohibits nightclubs from admitting people under 21 into the club. Since Felt is a nightclub, the Tuesday night party is 21+.
If anyone is interested in organizing and/or attending an event for people under 21, that would be great.
