Confusion about session attendance status

On the session listing (http://boston2008.drupalcon.org/sessions) there are links that say “I will attend” / “I will not attend”

Does “I will attend” mean that you ARE attending? Or does it mean that you’re currently NOT attending, but clicking on the link will make it so you’re attending?

That confused me too. Some

That confused me too. Some say “I will attend”, but I don’t recall clicking anything to suggest that.

This seems to be just some

This seems to be just some views_bookmark thing, does it really do anything? I’m really confused about what means what, too.

same here

no matter what I click on the view, what sessions pages I go to and click “i will attend” the display on the view looks the same the next time I look at it.

this seems like a cool idea, but for now is very broken and confusing.
maybe someone can add a note to that page explaining how it is supposed to work?

Confirming that it does not work

And would be utterly ambiguous even if it did work ;-)

disabled for now

The value on in the View did not reflect the value in the database. Anyone wanting this feature back please help at http://drupal.org/node/213488.

When the feature comes back, you will see clearer wording.
