File uploads would be an awesome addition to the sessions content-type
It seems like the most natural place for session presentation files to go would be on each session page itself on this site. That would require comment upload capability. It would be awesome; it would give significant shelf-life to this site.
I understand this is very last minute to be suggesting adding a module to this site, so maybe it will just be a suggestion for next time.
Assuming the comment upload module will not be added to this site, I think that session presenters, or folks who get the files from session presenters, should create a new forum topic in honor of such a score; forum topics do allow follow uploads.

I agree that it would be great to have the presentation files stored with the session information. But failing that, where are the presentation files now? Is there a master list somewhere? I know that at least a few presenters were keeping their files on their own sites.
