Problem uploading picture

Problem uploading picture

Is anyone else having trouble uploading a user picture? I keep getting:

* The selected file /var/www/boston2008.drupalcon.org/htdocs/tmp/tmp_zhuXxA could not be uploaded, because the destination files/pictures/picture-489.jpg is not properly configured.
* Failed to upload the picture image; the pictures directory doesn't exist or is not writable.

I tried to change my picture...

and got the same error.

Hi,

Could you tell me the size of the picture your trying to upload and the exact process your going through to get the error? I’m having some difficulty reproducing it. Thanks!

It seems to be working now.

It seems to be working now. Maybe I was just using too big an image (in which case the error message could use some work, since it was talking about folder permissions).
