SESSION OVERVIEW
This session, presented by the maintainers of the Location, OpenLayers, and Gmap modules, will examine the current state of GIS- and mapping-related technologies on Drupal, along with a look at the roadmap for 2008 and beyond. This session will be a mix of background information presentation and active discussion.

* Brief discussion of mapping and GIS use cases, including the ever-popular mash-up as well as participatory mapping
* Examination of current Drupal GIS offerings
* Examination of compatible GIS systems (OpenLayers, QGIS, PostGIS, etc.)
* Look at 2008 roadmap for GIS-related Drupal development, including the new Location 3 module
GOALS
The goal of this session is to inform attendees on the state of GIS and content-mapping tools on Drupal, along with the outlook for the future. Ideally, discussion will be inspired by both end-user and developer needs.

Which schedule is correct for that session? Is GIS session actually happening at 3:30 pm on Wednesday?
