Looking for clarification . . .
When you say “market an Open Source product”, are you referring to convincing customers to use an OS product that you provide one or more services around? Or are you referring to getting customers to pay for an OS product, whether your own or someone else’s that you’ve possibly added functionality to? Or maybe some other meaning that I’m not seeing?
Re: Looking for clarification . . .
My talk will actually shed a light on both, vendors (who create their own Open Source product) as well as contributors (e.g. system integrators).
The goal is to provide an overview of how all companies and not-for-profit organizations actively participating in an Open Source project’s ecosystem can benefit from marketing.
