Michael Schroeder, publisher and chief operating officer of the daily commuter newspaper BostonNOW, has spent 28 years in newspaper and magazine publishing as an editor, operations manager and senior executive. As chief of staff at Newsday, he helped start up amNewYork. He later was general manager of niche publishing at Newsday, and held the same position at Davler Media Group, publisher of New York’s City Guide Magazine. He was on the management team that launched TechWeb and NetGuide Live, the first compilation fo web site reviews, for CMP Media.
