What does a vote mean?

What does a vote mean?

I noticed we can vote on each session (and the interface is great!)

But what does this mean? Are sessions with higher votes more likely to be accepted?

I’m one of the track

I’m one of the track co-chairs, and as far as I understand it, they will be used as part of the decision process for which sessions make it in. They’re not the only or biggest factor, but they can definitely sway things one way or another — so vote for your favourites!

(The interface is the lovely Five Star module, by the way)
