When/Where is the next DrupalCon?

When/Where is the next DrupalCon?
Hello,
I was trying to be able to come to DrupalCon Boston but unfortunately it didn’t work out. Does anyone know when / where the next DrupalCon will be so I can start begging and pleading to be able to go?

The next one will be in approximately 7 months, and it will most likely be somewhere in Europe (following tradition). The one after that will be in about 13 months and will most likely be some where in North America (again, following tradion). The locations have probably not been totally worked out yet, but the rough estimates will still give you something to start shooting for until the specifics are made known, which will probably be about 2-3 months before the event takes place.
Ok thank you, guess i’ll shoot for 13 months for the next US one. I know they won’t send me overseas ;)
If you live near a city of some sort, consider putting on a local or regional Drupal camp. Let Drupal come to you!
Thats a good idea, it would be nice.. unfortunately I don’t exactly have the organizational skills to get it off the ground. If someone wants to throw one in Kansas City or St. Louis i’d be more then interested in coming :)
The regional drupalcamps are getting larger all the time. Both LA and Bay Area were more than 100 people. Join your local user group at http://groups.drupal.org and start asking about DrupalCamps near your area. Toronto has had one every year, for example.
We just had DrupalCampWI in Milwaukee, WI on January 19th. 50-ish people showed up for 12+ hours on a Saturday. I’d be willing to be there’s one coming to Chicago sometime in 2008…
DrupalCamp Chicago (DCC) is planned for August 16th. Currently DCC is being organized by a committee of active CDMUG members and more details will be posted as they become available. CDMUG is one of the early user groups and has grown our community to over 130 members. If you are close to the MidWest and would like to participate in DCC by sponsoring, help plan, teach a session, or other please join are weekly IRC freenode.net chats on #cdmug (8PM - 12Midnight).
Also I attended the DrupalCampWI it had valuable Drupal tips and was worth the short road trip from Chicago. Im looking fwd to seeing everyone at DCC this summer.
