Barry Madore

I work with Advantage Labs, Inc. based in Minneapolis Minnesota. We are a full-service Drupal company offering managed Drupal hosting, Drupal site development, Drupal developer support services and various levels of Drupal training. We also sponsor the TCDrupal users group and the TCWebpros users group providing opportunities for local developers to share best practices, build a healthy and cooperative development community, and network for business and skill building.

Advantage Labs’ co-founder Allie Micka, who has attended nearly every Drupalcon as well as this one, is a longstanding member of the Drupal development community having contributed multiple modules and coding to the Drupal effort. Her contributions can be seen on Drupal.org.

I am relatively new to Drupal (one year) having come out of the nonprofit sector having done traditional graphic design (print and web), technology consulting for nonprofits, technology training for youth, nonprofit board service, and independent film and television production and outreach marketing for public television. I’m especially interested in community building, both online and traditional. My work with Advantage Labs allows me to merge my training, organizational development, community development, and graphic design experience as we help organizations and developers leverage Drupal to better meet their missions and goals.

This is my second Drupalcon having attended Drupalcon Barcelona last fall. I’m excited to be back in Boston where I grew up.
