Darrel O'Pry

I’ve been developing for Drupal for almost 3 years. I have contributed to CCK and Core. I’m best known for my work with ImageField, FileField, and ImageCache. I currently work with Eighty Elements, a Vancouver based startup that specializes in building Drupal based multimedia sites using Flash and Flex.

I’m also a UNIX systems administrator and have administered systems for Onramp.net, Verio, ThePlanet.com, Thing.net, and NowPublic.com. I have over 10 years of experience as both a developer and systems administrator.

When I’m not trying to make the my Ubuntu more like OS X (I’m almost to folder actions… inotify is the bomb i need better nautilus integration), I spend my time studying dance and circus arts. I’m a fairly proficient staff twirler and stilt walker. I’m slowly learning Aerial Performance which is totally amazing and fun, not to mention an awesome full body work out.
