Massachusetts has a relatively new law that prevents nightclubs from allowing anyone into the club who is under 21. It used to be you could get in at 18 — you’d get a special stamp or wristband and not served alcohol. That’s no longer the case.
Felt is the location for the Tuesday night party that Acquia is sponsorsing. Since it’s 21+ only, I was curious if anyone under 21 wanted to get people together to meet up and do something else.
I’ve hosted a popular board game night in Boston for a couple years and I’d be happy to set one of those up somewhere in Boston. (We’ve most recently had the board game night at Soul Fire, an excellent BBQ restaurant in Allston on the Green Line’s B train part of Boston. Is that of interest? And just to clarify, we’re not talking about Candyland sorts of games — geekier games like Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Around the US in Ten Days plus a local favorite, Apples to Apples. We’ve got about 50 games overall: board and card games.
If a game night isn’t of interest, anyone else want to step up and organize an outing?
