Neil Giarratana is President and Chief Technology Officer of Lucidus Corporation, one of the fastest growing internet strategy and services firms in New England. He is a recognized industry leader who is regularly asked to speak at conferences throughout North America. Most recently his speaking engagements include presenting “Leveraging Technology to Build Business Momentum” at the 2007 Hannah Grimes Entrepreneur Conference and “The Profitable Web Development Process - Delivering Projects On Time and On Budget” to TODCON Las Vegas.

Giarratana, 37, began his career in 1993 with EDS as Mobile Technology Coordinator for James Madison Mortgage Company; within three years, he was named Systems Manager for a nine site, wide area network within the mid-atlantic region. He was recruited from EDS to lead Eastern Mortgage Service’s mobile technology initiative, implementing the company’s first loan application system through remote laptops. In 1996, Giarratana joined Lockheed Martin’s Integrated Technology Laboratory to lead a web application prototyping team. This lab was formed with Lockheed Martin’s best and brightest to create cutting edge Internet web applications for intelligence and military organizations. In less than four months, his team’s prototyping efforts led to a seven year, 11 million dollar production implementation for the CIA. This system remains in use today and is considered the largest collector of open source intelligence in the US Intelligence Community. Neil also presented at Lockheed Martin’s 1st web technology conference and co-directed the first web technology educational conference for a division of the company in the Washington area.

With the birth of their first child, Neil and his wife, Christine, made a life choice to relocate to the quintessential New England city of Keene, New Hampshire. They moved in April, 2000 and Neil became the Director of eServices for IniNet, one of the leading technology solutions providers to northern New England. Under his leadership, the new division quickly made a name for itself by delivering highly complex, web applications to organizations like XO Communications, Main Street America Group, as well as Student Conservation Association. Neil further established his role as a thought leader in Northern New England by co-directing two web technology conferences sponsored, in part, by Macromedia. He founded the largest web technology user group in northern New England and was a founding contributor to CommunityMX.com. When IniNet’s ownership decided to divest its eServices business in November of 2002, Neil formed Lucidus Corporation and continued to serve the eServices clients. Lucidus has been growing ever since.

Neil serves the community as an Executive Board Member of the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce, President of Keene Youth Hockey Club, Chair for the Keene Young Professionals Network and as a member of the Cheshire Health Foundation’s Advisory Council.

Neil, Christine, Tyler and Dylan continue to “live the dream” of small town, New England life. His office (a converted 1800’s mill building with tall beams and beautiful brick) is only fifteen minutes away from home…when he walks!
