SESSION OVERVIEW
ELMS is an e-learning management system developed by instructional designers, for instructional designers to manage and deploy e-learning based course materials. The focus of this presentation will be to announce and demo ELMS 1.0 as well as present the future directions for ELMS 2.0 .

AGENDA
* Talk about ELMS, reasons for it’s creation and how it serves e-learning courses
* Demo: Publish static HTML
* Demo: Visually manage content via drag-n-drop interface
* Demo: Visually build navigational blocks via custom block manager
* Show how these three play together in the creation (and management) of course materials
* Future directions including:
* Interface designer
* Centralized Course / Program management console
* Widget based approach to adding Web 2.0 functionality to courses

GOALS
To publicly announce the creation of an e-Learning Management System (ELMS) as well as discuss the future directions of the system. We are trying to create interest around the topic as well as foster discussion about the development of this application.
