In this session we will review the current state of enterprise database support in Drupal focusing on Microsoft’s SQL Server. We will also cover the advantages and disadvantages of using SQL Server as well as what obstacles prevent it from being integrated into Drupal core. Working examples of Drupal sites running on SQL Server will be showcased. If time allows, other enterprise applications will be discussed (Oracle, DB2, Quickbooks, Asterisk, etc.).
