Shawn Morin

A user of Drupal for about 1.5 years, I began as a site admin after a developer built it for us and handed it over. I have since grown into semi in-depth theme and template work, and relatively mild coding/development.

Our site displays descriptions of our movies and events, links show times into our box office software for online ticket sales, teaches about our non-profit organization, and handles sales of memberships, donations and gift cards.

My personal goals are to grow into more development work for modules etc… and back end custom coding.
Our organizations goals are to find solutions to integrate databses from Drupal, in-house Filemaker member/donor databases, and databases pertaining to box office performance and member tracking.

I hope to walk away from the con with an increased understanding of the structure of Drupal, an idea of how to set my goals for becoming a better developer/contributor, and a sense of what exciting developments are on the horizon for Drupal.
