Steven Backman

Steve is founder and principal at Database Designs Associates, a Boston-based web and database consulting. Steve learned to program in the PDP8 dark ages, and has been fiddling ever since. Steve started database designs to provide customized solutions to nonprofit, membership, advocacy, and public sector organizations.

Database Designs now has a strong client base in public education, public health, advocacy, housing and development, labor and select state government services. We have fully embraced drupal and are committed to sites with high visual impact and which meet specialized organizational requirements through custom development. Database Designs also does custom web and database development in PHP, perl and Microsoft realms.
